Settings

The Settings page is where you manage your connected properties, integrations, billing, and account. Open it by clicking Settings in the sidebar (the gear icon near the bottom).

Property Management#

This section lists every GA4 property connected to your account. For each property, you can see the property name, property ID, and connection status.

  • Add a property: Click Connect Property and follow the authorization flow to link a new GA4 property. On the Free plan, you can connect 1 property. On the Starter plan, there is no limit.
  • Remove a property: Click the remove button next to any property to disconnect it. This revokes stored tokens and deletes cached data for that property. Your GA4 property itself is not affected. We only remove it from Calm Analytics.

Google Search Console#

Search Console data powers the Search dashboard, showing you which Google queries drive traffic to your site. GSC is connected separately from GA4 because it requires its own authorization.

To connect:

  1. Click Connect in the Google Search Console section.
  2. Authorize read-only access to your Search Console account.
  3. Select the property that matches your website.

Once connected, search data appears on the Search dashboard. Keep in mind that Google Search Console data has a 2-3 day delay. This is a Google limitation.

API Usage#

This section shows your current GA4 API quota consumption. The GA4 Data API has daily and hourly token limits set by Google, and this is where you monitor them.

You will see two progress bars:

QuotaLimitResets
Daily tokens200,000 per dayMidnight Pacific Time
Hourly tokens40,000 per hourEvery hour

The bars are color-coded:

  • Green: healthy, plenty of quota remaining.
  • Amber: above 70% used, worth keeping an eye on.
  • Red: above 90% used, you may start seeing errors if you keep making requests.

Slow dashboards?

Check API Usage if dashboards seem slow or data is not loading. High quota consumption means the GA4 API is being rate-limited, which slows down data fetches. The hourly quota resets every hour, so it usually resolves on its own.

Plan & Billing#

This section shows your current plan (Free or Starter) and gives you options to manage it:

  • Upgrade to Starter: Opens the Paddle checkout overlay where you can choose monthly ($19/mo) or annual ($190/yr) billing.
  • Manage Subscription: Opens the Paddle customer portal where you can update your payment method, switch billing cycles, download invoices, or cancel. This button only appears if you have an active Starter subscription.

For more details, see the Plans and Billing page.

Account#

Your profile information is pulled from your Google account (name, email, and avatar). There is nothing to edit here since it stays in sync with Google.

The Sign Out button logs you out of Calm Analytics. Your properties, data, and settings are preserved. Sign back in anytime to pick up where you left off.
